Po' Boy Sandwich Shrimp Po Boy

Po Boy sandwich It's one of the most popular sandwiches, delicious and easy to prepare, and rich in protein found in shrimp, and vitamins found in accompanying vegetables. The first time I tasted it was when I was looking for business services for my company, when I was tasting it I forgot what I was looking for, it was so delicious.



What's a Po Boy? 

The origin of po' boy Sandwich is from Louisiana  also called po-boy, po boy derived from the non-rhotic southern accents. It almost always consists of meat, which is usually roast beef or some seafood such as shrimp, fish, crawfish, crab or oysters. The meat is served on New Orleans French bread, known for its fluffy center and crispy crust.

The most important consumers and exporters of shrimp around the world:

Shrimp trade continues to flourish at the global level, with its annual production approaching about 6 million tons, of which about 3.5 million tons are produced from ocean and sea waters, in addition to 2.4 million tons from fish farms.

China is the largest producer of shrimp in the world, followed by Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam and Ecuador. While Thailand ranks first in the world in exporting shrimp, followed by India, Ecuador, Indonesia and Denmark.

In terms of countries importing shrimp, Japan and the United States of America are the largest importers of shrimp in the world, while Spain is the largest European importer of shrimp, followed by France and the United Kingdom.

How to make Po Boy Sandwich

1. Start by making our sauce, minced garlic, paprika, Mayonnaise and mix it.

2. After mix it add some cajun or creole seasoning, hot sauce, Pickle juice (dill or sweet),horseradish and creole mustard.



3. To prepare our shrimp, in a saucepan you want to go ahead and use two tablespoon of butter and melt it on medium heat then add minced garlic and after that then we go ahead and add our shrimp with some cajun or creole seasoning, Worcestershire and some parsley  and cook it about 2 or 3 minutes and flip them over and repeat the whole process, then go ahead and and just set them off to the side.



4. Now it's time to go ahead and assemble and since we do a Po Boy you know we started off with some lettuce shredded  lettuce, some tomatoes it's up to you, then we add our cooked shrimp.


 5. Add the sauce that we have made on the top.





Ingredients: 


Remoulade Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Creole Mustard 
  • 1 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Cajun or Creole Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp Pickle Juice (dill or sweet)
  • 2 tsp Horseradish

Shrimp

  • 1 or 2 bags of Large or Jumbo Shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley


Directions:


  1. Start by making our sauce, minced garlic, paprika, Mayonnaise and mix it.
